Since I became Dean of the College, I have focused my attention on refining the strategic direction of the College and opening the door to new opportunities, behind which is how to develop and invest its energy. We always use a unique energy strategy to identify new and advanced plans that find our strengths and keep pace with the requirements and challenges of higher education. This is done by working with qualified employees who are distinguished by their work towards efficiency, as well as by building new methods on a solid foundation, by finding new ways to transform these challenges into success, quality, and opportunities that benefit all members of society. In addition to facilitating the educational process using modern educational tools at the national and local levels and contributing to supporting industrial development and the advancement of society, preparing students to participate in the work sector is one of our priorities, so college employees are keen to review what it offers. We are also constantly working on developing e-learning so that we can delve into different forms of education between e-learning and direct education. The college also focuses on achieving its future mission by educating citizens and professionals for the community to obtain the highest status, developing and disseminating science, and finding solutions to the problems facing this era through communication with local communities. Al-Zahrawi University College was established in 2009 and officially recognized in 2014. The college strives to achieve excellence in academic and educational aspects by developing effective educational programs and preparing bachelor's degree students to become leading researchers and contribute positively to Iraqi society. The infrastructure, laboratories, and scientific equipment have been well-prepared to support and actively engage in research programs.

The academic departments of Al-Zahrawi University College include:

• Dentistry Department: Aims to graduate competent professionals specialized in oral health, with a focus on theoretical knowledge, motor skills, and manual dexterity necessary to meet the needs of the community. The department aspires to be a leader in research, education, and health awareness.

• Pharmacy Department: Seeks to graduate qualified individuals in pharmaceutical sciences who can contribute to public health development through innovation in education, research, and practice while keeping pace with advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.
